About Locally Made  

  • Event Hours: Saturday & Sunday Noon-6 PM  
  • Located on the grounds of the Indianapolis Art Center  
  • Volunteers receive free admission the day of the event  that they volunteer, you will receive a handstamp to re-enter the same day if you leave through the exit gate.  
  • Pets are not permitted on IAC property during the event. Service animals with proper documentation are permitted.  

 General Volunteer Information  

  • The Volunteer Tent will be located just off of 67th Street, east of College Avenue. We will be located on IAC property adjacent to the Ruth Lilly Library.  
  • Please check in at the Volunteer Tent at least 15 minutes before your shift to allow time for check in and to find your volunteer shift location.  
  • Volunteer T-shirts must be worn during your shift. You will receive your t-shirt when check in for your shift.  
  • There is no changing area; clothing you can comfortably wear under your T-shirt is recommended.  
  • It is important to dress comfortably and for a variety of weather conditions, to stay hydrated, and to wear comfortable shoes to have an enjoyable experience.  
  • Do not bring personal/valuable items with you; there is no place to store your belongings.  
  • For your safety and the safety of others, you are not permitted to drink alcohol until you have completed your final volunteer shift of the day. Anyone suspected of volunteering under the influence of alcohol will be asked to leave immediately.  

Getting to the Event  

  • Keep in mind, parking around the Indianapolis Art Center is limited and neighborhood streets in direct proximity fill up fast, please arrive early to give ample time to find parking.  
  • Bike to the event! Pedal and Park will be on site during the event for safekeeping of your bicycles.  
  • The IndyGo RedLine provides a convenient option for transportation, with a stop located at 66th Street and College Ave, just steps from our grounds!  
  • There is a parking garage at 62nd Street and Broad Ripple Ave, walk to the event and stop by a local restaurant on your way back!
